Location

Thailand, Bangkok

Thailand is in the heart of Southeast Asia. Cambodia and Laos border the country to the east and northeast, and Myanmar lies to the northwest. To the west is the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand, southeast of Burma. The long southern region, connecting with Malaysia, is hilly and forested.

Visit Home of New Beginnings

Tour the areas where girls are rescued from exploitation and trafficking

Take a river boat in the morning and visit Home of New Beginnings recovery home for victims of exploitation and trafficking. Encourage the staff and girls and learn some of their stories. Inspire your desire to see justice in the lives of others trapped in the world of trafficking and exploitation.

Evening walk through of the red light district and famous tourist stop of Nana Plaza where over 90 bars host international clients and the streets overflow with sex tourists.

Day 4

Encourage Young Girls at New Beginnings

Sharing stories

Meet several young girls at the Bangkok location of Home of New Beginnings. Hear about where they started and how they got to Beginnings, and learn about their dreams for the future. Be inspired by their journey out of injustice into freedom, and share your stories with them. Amazing mouth watering cuisine is ensured throughout this itinerary. Visit some of Daniel and Christy Kooman’s favourite local stops along the way.

Days 5-7

A Beach Adventure

5-star resort adventure

This is a unique opportunity to take your own gifts and hospitality, and use them to encourage, bless and inspire former sex workers in an extravagant way. During this part of the itinerary, the men and women will be split up into two separate groups. The men will spend time together while the women embark on a three-day, two-night mission of extravagance, hosting a group of ladies at an ocean resort, getting massages, spending time around resort pools and at beautiful restaurants. The team of ladies and their new friends, in a 5-star environment, will make time to share more stories, pray together and bless the beautiful women that were formerly exploited in the sex industry. The men will enjoy a different resort (and restaurants and beaches) along with meaningful times of life-giving encouragement together.

Days 8-10

Jungle Trek

A different side of Thailand

Travel North to Chiang Rai and a totally different rural side of Thailand. The cuisine and the culture are a little different up here. Meet another ministry that works with street kids and learn about the ways you can be involved in empowering children here. Enjoy a 1-night trek into the jungle where you’ll visit an elephant reserve, ride the majestic beasts and enjoy refreshing times in the serene jungles of the North. Great food, great guides and more than a few beautiful views and waterfalls.

Day 11

Return to Bangkok

Overnight downtown

A final day of reflection and time with your team caps off a tremendous experience. Enjoy the pool while journaling and take in a few last great SouthEast Asian meals and foot massages.

Day 12
